About Veloce Santiago

Mission Statement: Our goal is to ride our bicycles safely as a team, increase our individual and team fitness levels and build long-term relationships while having fun.

Veloce Santiago focuses on camaraderie and teamwork all while having fun on our bikes. Our members enjoy everything from a tough century to challenging on the velodrome for the rainbow stripes at World Championship and everything in between. Veloce Santiago members are intent on improving their own cycling skill as well as their teammates. The club engages in all types of rides offering multiple options for everyone to engage with the club and their teammates. Not a racer, not to worry, plenty of us just enjoy getting on our bikes to compete against ourselves for a new strava PR or beat one of the 20 somethings up the next climb. Come join us for a Saturday ride leaving at 7.30 am from Trek Bicycle Tustin, then stay around for the coffee, bagels, and some good joking at one another. Oh, after the rides we'll talk bikes, the Pro Tour, bike gear, and just about anything else. See you on a Saturday.

As a non-profit Veloce Santiago gives to local charities and organizations. Each year we support the Operation of Hope, a local non-profit bringing corrective facial surgeries to children in need around the world. We also support the Tustin Public Schools Foundation through the Dino Dash 50K bike ride.

Veloce Santiago also holds a variety of social events throughout the year bringing members and their families together, from post-ride BBQ to tequila tasting fundraising dinners, or the club party we try to ensure that Veloce Santiago is more than just the Saturday group you ride with.
